The 2013 Boston Comic Con

I went to the 2013 Boston 2013 Comic con this year dressed up as Uhura from the new Star Trek movies. I had so much fun, I saw weird and crazy outfits like Cat Woman,  Jobba the Hutt, Captain America, Zombies, Laura Croft, Iron Man, Batman and others I can’t even describe. One thing I thought was funny was that my little bother dressed up as Master Chief from Halo and got his picture taken with an other Halo man with an incredible costume. This is a drawing of myself as Uhura. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Recipe- Meringue Mice

Ingredients:

2  egg whites

1/8  teaspoon salt

1/8  teaspoon of cream of tartar

1/2  C sugar

1/8  teaspoon almond extract

M&Ms and colored gel frosting

Directions:

Preheat over to 225 degrees and line cookie sheets with foil.

In glass or ceramic bowl beat the egg whites, salt, almond extract and cream of tartar until fluffy, white and can stand on its own. Spoon meringue into a cake decorating bag and make long oval shapes with a curly Q on one end for the tale. Put in two M&Ms for the ears before baking but wait to decorate the face till after baking and the mice is cooled.

Bake for 1 1/2 hours.

09/24/13- Science Space Art

One of my favorite TV shows since I was seven, is the Universe TV Series on the History Channel. All of the beautiful pictures caught my eye and the scientific knowledge kept me interested. I will be posting pictures often of our unknown, mysterious neighbors, taken with our Hubble Spy camera, I hope you enjoy the space art.
